Author-artist Elisabeth Stevens lived for several decades in Baltimore before living and working in Sarasota, FL. Elisabeth authored several books of poetry, short fiction, and dramas. A former art and architecture critic for The Baltimore Sun and a former art critic for The Washington Post, The Wall Street Journal, and The Trenton Times, Elisabeth was instinctively a “word-picture” person. She designed and illustrated many of her books with original graphics. She was a graduate of Wellesley College and Columbia University. Elisabeth passed away in 2018.
