Warren Meredith Harris

Warren Meredith Harris grew up in Richmond, Virginia. He has written not only poetry that has appeared in many periodicals, but also dramatic works performed in colleges and small venues in Virginia, Chicago, and New York City, including one broadcast on New York City public radio. Educated at the University of Richmond, Yale University – where he won the Tew Book Prize – and Northwestern University, he has been a college teacher, a stage director, an editor of a literary journal, and a theatre reviewer. He and his wife Diane, a professional genealogist, live in Abingdon, Virginia, which is home to one of his favorite places, the Virginia Creeper Trail.
