Carrie Conners, author of Luscious Struggle, was featured in the Dear Ocean reading series, a climate-inspired event presented by the Human Impacts Institute in Brooklyn, New York. Carrie was among a line-up of poets and creators, including Bailey Alejandro Cohen-Vera, Layne Glasgow, I. S. Jones, Monica Lewis, and Mingpei Li. The evening was hosted by the Human Impacts Institute Artist-in-Residence Kwame Opoku-Duku and the Unbnd Collective.
